What seemed like a much needed win for RCB did not culminate by just one indiviual’s effort, Kohli was terrific with the bat and fielding giving more than his 100% but ABD less RCB lost against KKR again succumbing to the option less death bowling. RCB dropped cruicial catches of Chris Lynn that took the match away from RCB.
Despite making changes in the squad, RCB could not post a huge total, the strike rate of DeKock and McCullum was so low that they could only get 40 run in the first 6 overs, somehome RCB could not capitalize on KKR bowling from the young Shivam Mavi who gave only 21 runs in 3 overs, Kuldeep yadav also showing some greatness by bowling at the right lengths giving away just 20 runs in 4 overs.
KKR started off again with Narine opening, he was playing a blinder with shots just missing the fielders and lived his batting life dangerously, by the time he was out he had made the damage of giving KKR a good start. Rain also played a bummer for RCB with the ball getting wet and coming onto the bat nicely. Uttappa had a good batting stint in this match after a bunch of failures in the previous matches. Nitish Rana was going well but suddenly retired hurt with back spasm, In the end captain Dinesh Kartik finished the winning runs with 5 balls to spare.
RCB still has the problem with bowling, they are not able to get the combination right, death bowling is still a problem. They really have to win all matches and still have issues with middle order and bowling. Your thought?
