Nu Uhh, Is this a jinx? Kamran Akmal’s batting struggles against left handed spin
In the latest 2018 PSL, Islamabad United won against Peshawar Zalmi. Luke Ronchi in the lead for Islamabad’s win, with 52 runs has established a good reputation in his match. But what happened to Kamran Akmal, the lead score runner of the team?
Well, in this season’s PSL, Akmal has had a very bad time. 11 times, including in the final, was he struck out but left-handed spin bowlers. Unfortunate for Zalmi, but Wahab Riaz in the end, had a cute and spectacular performance. But, it was not enough for his team.
In the finals, Samit Patel, United’s left handed spin bowler, had such a ball that clipped leg side toward stumps. It seemed like Akmal was angry after what he had done. Well, it’s not really wrong for him at this point. This was the eleventh time he struck out by left hand spin. Maybe it was really a instant instinct, or maybe lack of skill, but it all seems like it leads to a jinx. Has K. Akmal jinxed himself so he can never bat against left hand spin, or has he developed a temporary fear for left handed spin?
In the end, this is not the fear Akmal had in him before? Instead of getting too ugly and too deep into this, comment in the comments section down below on what you think Kamran Akmal has messed up on.
